Cowley County

With concentrations such as workforce training, entrepreneurial growth and business development, it’s no wonder why businesses are prospering in Cowley County, a semi-rural county that is adjacent to the Wichita metropolitan area. Cowley County is home to two higher education learning institutions: Cowley College and Southwestern College. Located in Arkansas City, Cowley College is a public two-year community college serving more than 3,000 students annually through a variety of degree and certificate programs. Southwestern College is a private four-year institution located in Winfield, offering more than 40 undergraduate majors and six graduate programs.
